About these terms
These terms apply when you book a session, test or advisory meeting with AAMAAS Coaching. By confirming a booking you accept the terms below. The agreement is between you as the customer and AAMAAS Coaching, represented by Nikolai Aamaas.
Booking and confirmation
The time is reserved for you the moment you confirm the booking, and you receive a confirmation by email with details and preparation instructions. If the confirmation does not arrive, the booking is still valid — get in touch and I will resend it.
- You must provide your name, email and phone number in order to book.
- Some sessions have a minimum notice period. The deadline is reflected in the booking calendar.
- The location is agreed in advance and stated in the confirmation. Online meetings use a link sent before the meeting.
Cancellation and changes
Plans change, and that is fine — but let me know in good time, since the slot is set aside for you alone.
- Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the session. Use the link in your confirmation email and the time is immediately released to others.
- Cancelling later than 24 hours before, or not showing up, means the session is invoiced in full. The confirmation and reminder emails state the exact deadline for your session.
- If you fall ill or get injured, get in touch and we will find a solution. Illness is handled at discretion and is normally not invoiced.
- If I have to cancel — for example due to illness or weather that makes the session unsafe — you are told as early as possible and we find a new time. You are never invoiced for a session I cancel.
- Free sessions, such as an intro call, are never invoiced. Do still let me know if you can't make it, so someone else can take the slot.
Price and payment
The price shown when you book is the price for that session. Later price changes do not affect bookings that are already confirmed.
- Payment is in arrears against an invoice, due within 14 days.
- For swim sessions, the pool ticket comes in addition and is paid by you on site.
- For sessions without a fixed price, the price is agreed in advance, before the session takes place.
- Late payment accrues interest in accordance with the Norwegian Late Payment Interest Act.
- Some sessions are free. Those show "Free" where the price would otherwise be, and you get no invoice.
Health, liability and risk
Physical training and performance testing carry a degree of risk. Maximal tests are strenuous and require you to be healthy.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your state of health permits the training or testing you book. If in doubt, check with a doctor first.
- You must disclose illness, injuries, medication or other circumstances relevant to carrying out the session.
- Guidance, test results and training recommendations are professional advice, not medical treatment or diagnosis.
- Participation is at your own risk. AAMAAS Coaching is not liable for injury or loss that is not caused by negligence on my part.
Training data and reports
To deliver the service I store information tied to your sessions — test results, training data, notes and progress over time. This is what makes it possible to set correct training zones, produce reports and show actual progress from test to retest.
- You give explicit consent to this when you book, or at your first login to the training portal if you were invited directly by your coach. Without that consent the service cannot be delivered.
- The information is used only to follow up on you, and is never shared with anyone else unless you ask for it.
- You may withdraw your consent at any time. Further follow-up with reports and progress measurement then ends. Deletion of the information itself does not happen automatically — it happens on request, see "Requesting deletion" in the privacy policy for what is deleted, what is kept, and why.
- How the information is processed, how long it is kept and what rights you have is described in the privacy policy.
Using the training portal
If you have been invited to the training portal, these points apply in addition to the rest of these terms.
- Your coach grants you access to the portal, and can withdraw it.
- You must accept these terms and the privacy policy at your first login to the portal before you can go further.
- If you decline the terms, you will not enter the portal — but you will not be signed out, and you can change your mind at any time. Nothing is deleted, and your calendar subscription keeps showing your training plan as normal.
- Optional logging — day form, sleep quality, stress, travel, alcohol, illness and muscle soreness — is voluntary and requires its own separate consent — see the point below.
Optional logging – day form and wellness
Optional logging is voluntary and requires its own consent, separate from the consent to training and health data above. Under this consent you can log your day form, and six daily measures — alcohol intake, perceived sleep quality, stress, travel, illness and muscle soreness — each on a 1–5 scale. Under Settings you can separately, additionally, turn on logging of blood donation (yes/no per day), off by default until you turn it on yourself. Your coach sees what you log. The portal works fully without it. You can turn it off at any time in settings, and doing so deletes every value you have already logged under this consent, including blood donation.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. For a material change you must accept the new terms again — the booking form always requires a fresh confirmation, and the portal shows you the gate again at your next login. If you do not accept the portal terms again, you stay outside the portal until you do, but your training plan remains in place and your calendar subscription keeps working. A plain correction, such as a typo, does not change the version and does not require renewed consent. The date at the top of the page shows when the terms were last changed.
